Deputies Arrested a Kingman Man Who Left the Scene of an Accident

KINGMAN – Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested Tyler Randolph Logas, 24 of Kingman, for felony Criminal Damage and misdemeanor Leaving the Scene of an Accident.

According to the MCSO on June 22, 2019 deputies responded to a residence in the 3000 block of Butler Ave. in reference to an accident. The victim reported that she was sleeping inside her residence when she heard a loud noise outside. She observed her fence was torn down and her gas meter had been hit and was leaking. She advised she did not see the vehicle involved.

Deputies were able to locate two small white pieces of the vehicle involved. Deputies received a call from Kingman Police Department Officers, who advised a white truck was spotted at a local business dragging fencing underneath and photos were obtained to include the vehicle’s license plate. The damage in the photos was consistent with the damage caused at the victim’s residence.

On June 23, deputies responded to the residence of the registered owner and made contact with Logas. Logas advised that he was out of town at the time of collision and someone was borrowing his truck. On June 24, deputies responded back to the residence at the request of Logas, who admitted to driving the truck at the time of the collision. The damage caused to the victim’s fence is estimated to cost approximately $1,700.

Logas was arrested and booked into Mohave County Adult Detention Facility without incident.
