KINGMAN — A Kingman man, who is already in the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility, had additional charges for domestic violence by sexual abuse added to his current charges.

Kenneth Thomas McIntire, 30, of Kingman, was charged April 12 with a felony count of domestic violence by sexual abuse.

McIntire was originally arrested on felony charges of domestic violence by child abuse and domestic violence by aggravated assault on April 4. A 13-year-old middle school student was allegedly found to have severe bruising and welts on his lower body. A school resource officer began an investigation, which reportedly resulted in McIntire being arrested for physically abusing his son.

The Kingman Police Department was later notified of allegations that McIntire had also sexually abused his 15-year-old niece while she was in his care.

According to KPD, the investigation revealed allegations that McIntire had been abusing his niece over the past two years.

McIntire, who reportedly admitted involvement in the offense, was already booked in the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility on previous charges.
