Traffic Violation Leads to Dangerous Drug Arrest

FORT MOHAVE — A Fort Mohave man was arrested on numerous drug and drug paraphernalia violations.

Mohave County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Nathanial Mark-Stone Daniels, 22, of Fort Mohave, for dangerous drug violation, drug paraphernalia violation, both felonies. MCSO also reported he had two active arrest warrants.

MCSO deputies were on patrol about 10:45 p.m. May 24 and noticed a white vehicle allegedly roll through a posted stop sign at Amanda Avenue and Sunrise Vista Boulevard. Deputies followed the vehicle and reportedly saw it roll through a second stop sign.

Deputies said they attempted to conduct a traffic stop, but the vehicle continued on. The vehicle finally stopped near Puerto Verde Drive on Camp Mohave Road and deputies spoke with Daniels, the driver.

MCSO said a records check revealed active warrants. Daniels was promptly detained.

A vehicle search allegedly revealed a container with about 0.5 grams of methamphetamine and assorted drug paraphernalia.

Daniels was arrested and booked into Mohave County Adult Detention Facility without incident.
