KINGMAN — Three people were arrested in connection with a burglary in Kingman.
Kingman Police arrested Rick William Costello Jr., 29, of Golden Valley, and Kevin Lee Dennis, 45 of Kingman, about 3:50 a.m. May 18 on felony charges of residential burglary.
KPD also arrested Amber Kennedy, 30, of Kingman, May 19 on a felony charge of trafficking in stolen property.
Officers responded to a report of a burglary in-progress at a home in the 800 block of Crestwood Lane. The home was vacant due to a recent fire.
Police said witnesses reported seeing the suspects leave after carrying several items out of the residence. Officers located a vehicle matching the description of the suspect vehicle and stopped it nearby. Costello and Dennis were contacted during the vehicle stop.
KPD said investigators were able to connect both men to the burglary, however the stolen property was not recovered.
Costello and Dennis, reportedly denied involvement in the offense. They were booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility.
Officers reported they learned on May 19 that Kennedy, Costello’s girlfriend, was attempting to sell items that were similar to the items reported stolen during the burglary.
Police said they were able to confirm the items she was selling were the stolen items.
She was located, arrested and booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility on her charges.
Kennedy was attempting to sell the items in order to raise money to bail Costello out of jail. Costello is still in jail.
