FORT MOHAVE — Mohave County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in searching for a vehicle used in a recent burglary.

Deputies responded about 3:40 a.m. May 9 to an alarm activation on a business in the 5200 block of Highway 95. They were directed to a convenience store on the property and noticed a broken window and merchandise scattered on the floor.

MCSO said video surveillance showed a subject using a crowbar to break the window and crawl inside. Once inside the store, the person unlocked the front door and removed cartons of cigarettes from a shelf behind the register. The person then exited the store and returned to the vehicle. The car was a silver Nissan Sentra.

Deputies said the vehicle has a black cargo carrier on top and a black front bumper. The license plate has been removed. The suspect was described as wearing a red hooded sweater, gloves, a black hat with a sticker on the bill and dark colored pants. The suspect had a yellow piece of cloth covering their face.
