KINGMAN — Multiple fire personnel were dispatched to a residential structure fire in the early hours of May 6.
The Kingman Fire Department received a call about 1:50 a.m. May 6 regarding a possible structure fire in the 800 block of Crestwood Lane. Engine 231, Engine 221, Engine 311, Engine 321, Battalion 2, Battalion 3 and AMR 35 were dispatched to the scene.
According to the Kingman Fire Department, the first personnel on scene found fire and smoke exiting the garage from a single family residence. Crews immediately began search and rescue and planned an offensive fire attack. The area of origin was in the garage.
Crews brought the fire under control from the interior. They prevented it from reaching other areas of the home and attic.
No injuries were reported and all residents were accounted for. Fire personnel from both Kingman Fire and Northern Arizona Consolidated Fire worked jointly due to continued training with all fire agencies in the greater Kingman consortium.
KFD said the cause and loss figures are inconclusive at this time. Investigators are on scene this morning. The fire does appear to be accidental.
