KINGMAN — Tonight is Downtown Kingman’s First Friday. Attendees should wear their best rockabilly, pin-up or 1950s style outfits.
The Rockabilly Romp will take place from 6-9 p.m. April 3 on Beale Street in downtown Kingman.
The free event will feature DJ Jeremiah Green, adoptions from the Western Arizona Humane Society, pop-up parks throughout Beale Street, several food vendors, a yoga class, family game centers and activities for kids.
First Friday’s purpose, according to the website, is to bring the community closer by cultivating Kingman culture. The inaugural event was in 2018 and the group has been holding First Friday for a little bit over a year.
Caitlin Stuart, Downtown Kingman’s First Friday Organizing Committee Member, said First Friday is important to the community.
“It’s important to build our community up and provide somewhere for families to be and enjoy what downtown Kingman has to offer,” said Stuart.
