MCSO Searching for Clues in Burglary

FORT MOHAVE — Two men allegedly walked into a business and stole cash from a safe.

The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary from the early morning hours of May 2. MCSO said two men entered the back door of a business in the 5200 block of Highway 95. They were seen on video surveillance rifling through a cash register in the kitchen area and searching cabinets and files.

MCSO said they pried open a safe on the office desk and walked out with the cash. Deputies followed footprints to a nearby cul-de-sac, where they may have parked their vehicle.

The first man is described as a Hispanic, about 5 foot, 7 inches to 5 foot, 9 inches, 190 pounds. He was wearing a back sweater, jewelry, a black hat with a sticker on the bill and a moustache.

The second man is a black male, about 6 foot to six foot, one inch, 200 pounds, wearing a blue hoodie sweater or raincoat and blue jeans.
