KINGMAN — Kingman Middle School is very proud to have nine students and two alternates selected by audition for the 2019 Arizona Music Educators Association’s Northern Arizona Middle School Regional Honor Band.

Auditions were held Feb. 23 in Prescott and auditions assessed the technical accuracy of over 400 sixth, seventh and eighth grade musicians. These assessments were made by evaluating the performance of musical excerpts, memorized scales and sight reading.

The honor music festival will be held at 4:15 p.m. May 4 at Page High School, in Page, AZ. The event will feature the region’s most talented band, choir and orchestra middle/junior high school students.
