Street Team Ropes in Awards

KINGMAN — Ride ‘em cowboys.

Two members of the City of Kingman Public Works Department street team placed third in the Maintenance Superintendents Association’s Annual Tom Sheetz Memorial Rodeo.

The rodeo, hosted by the Gilbert Public Works Department, took place March 28. Team members participated in backhoe, forklift, wheel loader and ten wheel dump and sweep sweeper operating contests, as well as sign placement.

Street Department team member Joe Trybus placed third in the Backhoe Operation and team member TC Cantrell placed third in the Ten Wheel Dump Truck Operation. They both won prizes.
