CHLORIDE — Ready for a good day of yard sales?

The Chloride Chamber of Commerce is hosting the semi-annual All Town Yard Sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 4. The bake sale starts at 9 a.m.

Goodie-seekers can start the day by picking up a yard sale map at the bake sale on the corner of Tennessee Avenue and Second Street, or at the Mineshaft Market, 4940 Tennessee Ave.

At high noon, the High Desert Drifters gunfighter troupe will be performing in Cyanide Springs, 123 Cyanide Road. The group performs shoot-outs in the tradition of the Wild West.

Chloride is an old mining town full of rich history, and visitors are encouraged to see the Chloride’s historical sites. The Roy Percell Murals are painted rocks a mile east of town. The old jail is on Merrimac Avenue and is fun for the whole family.
