KINGMAN – If you want to see some rodeo action this weekend, there’s a few hours available Sunday.
The Arizona Junior Rodeo Association will be rompin’ and ridin’ at the Mohave County Fairgrounds 8 a.m. to noon.
The AJRA is a statewide non-profit organization that has been in existence for over 50 years. The AJRA is comprised of cowboys & cowgirls between the ages of 4-18 years and is committed and dedicated to developing Arizona’s youth in the sport of rodeo, as well as preserving the western lifestyle. We strive to build interest, understanding, and appreciation for the western life, as well as teach responsibility, sportsmanship, hard work, and family involvement.
Events included steer roping, calf roping and barrel racing.
Admission is free. Just show up and support the kids who tour the state.
