Police Searching for Missing Montana Woman

MOHAVE VALLEY — A 36-year-old Montana woman has been reported missing, according to the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.

Kimberly Rose Hewankorn was listed as missing April 12 by her traveling companion, who said they were staying at a friend’s house in the 1100 block of Dike Road.

The man told MCSO she walked out the door April 1 and hasn’t been seen since.

Hewankorn is described as 5 feet, 7 inches tall, about 138 pounds, with brown eyes and long brown hair. She has freckles and a mole on her upper lip, and is considered Indian or Alaskan native. She was last seen carrying a white backpack with tribal designs.

According to the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office, Mrs. Hewankorn has been located and is safe.
