PEACH SPRINGS — Grand Canyon West is offering free admission to its facility during Mohave County Days.
Residents are invited to attend Mohave County Days from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 27-28 at Grand Canyon West, 5001 Diamond Bar Road. Attendees will receive free admission, food and entertainment at the Hualapai Ranch. Attendees are required to present a driver’s license or state ID card with an address in Mohave County.
The first Mohave County Days took place in 2012 and is part of the annual anniversary celebration. It gives Hualapai Tribe members and neighboring residents a chance to connect with one another.
The company and the tribe believe strongly in community, in self-determination for the Hualapai people and in the economic benefits of the GCW, which has created hundreds of jobs for the region.
Grand Canyon West Chief Executive Officer Colin McBeath said the upcoming event will be the best Mohave County Days yet.
“There’s no better way to celebrate our 31st anniversary than with a party,” said McBeath. “We’re offering free admission to Grand Canyon West for county residents with identification, and half-price admission to our best experiences, including Skywalk and the new zipline. We can’t wait to see everyone come out on April 28th.”
